A Hazel Park police officer in California was charged with spying on a breastfeeding woman using an iPhone with access to a Nest Cam baby monitor. Creepier still, the iPhone was evidence from a drug arrest. The peeping-tom tech-enthused lawsuit has put a new spin on creepy and iPhone innovation.

An iPhone app that connects to a nursery baby monitor called Nest Cam was used to spy on a breastfeeding mother. The app supposedly allowed the peeping officer to see and hear the new mother breastfeed. The iPhone once belonged to the mother’s husband who was arrested on drug charges. The police officer must have found the app on the phone, which may have led him to not logging it into evidence.
