Smoking is No Longer as Same as Porn

Smoking is No Longer as Same as Porn Clapway

The weirdly liberal/Puritan state of Massachusetts overwhelming voted to raise the minimum age of buying tobacco products. This will make it the second state to raise the age limit to 21 years old. That being said porn of all kinds is alive and, so fret not, smoking enthusiasts.

MASSACHUSETTS HATES SMOKING AND DRINKING

For a state that drinks and smokes a lot, they sure hate alcohol and cigarettes. This latest bill has been moved to the House after an approved 32-2 vote. This further proves that Massachusetts is stuck in the times of The Crucible. Soon, they’ll be throwing girls in the Frog Pond at the Boston Common to see if they sink. Heck, even smoking was allowed back then and that was when it was a sin to laugh. The new regulations also included electronic cigarettes and a ban on vaping in places where smoking is prohibited. Fo those who have made the switch to e-cigarettes, remember your ambitions towards a healthier lifestyle are not allowed in Boston. You might have to go to Hawaii to get your smoking fix. Oh, wait, nevermind.

HAWAII VOWS TO PROTECT THE YOUTH

This may be the only instance in which Hawaii and Massachusetts have anything in common. Hawaii was the first state to raise the tobacco purchase age to 21, with Massachusetts now following the suite. The two states believe that young brains are still developing at that age and haven’t reached full maturity, thus being prone to addiction. By raising the limit, it will keep cigarettes out of the hands of underage kids until they are older and of sound mind to make their own decisions. Right, because that strategy totally worked for alcohol in the U.S. Meanwhile, any 18-year-old can walk down to their local nudie magazine store and have access to all the porn they want.

CIGARETTES BAD REVENGE PORN GOOD

Massachusetts may be against smoking but one thing they surely support is revenge porn. Around 16 states since last year have created legislation against the posting of revenge porn. Oddly enough, Massachusetts and Florida are not one of them. Looks like good company to be in. This also helps make Massachusetts one of the most confusing states ever. Like marijuana? Smoke up! Want happy hours at bars? Sorry, God and stuff. How about posting a revenge porn video online that hospitalized a guy? Good job for sticking up for yourself they’ll say. A weird state indeed. Not to mention they cheat in football.
